Don't Despise the Hard Times
At a time and place I didn't want to be, I suddenly 'heard' in my spirit, a song. Right from the first note all the way through to the end but with different words than in the original. I got a pen and a piece of paper as fast as I could and wrote faster than I ever had to keep up. At the time, I didn't know the song's title but it is very fitting as well as the name of the group. 'Superstar', by The Carpenters. Long ago, and oh so far away, you came to Earth, to bring good news to them. Your words they fell, upon some hardened hearts. They just could not believe, nor would they receive. Don't you remember you told them you loved them, Jesus? You said you'd be comin' back again for them, Jesus. Praise you Father, Son, and The Holy Spirit. I love you, I really do. When I was born, 2000 years had passed, and I saw a tv show, that brought me to my knees. Your Word became, a seed inside of me, and now I am, part of your family. Don't you remember you told me you loved me, Jesus? You said you'd be comin' back again for me, Jesus. Praise you Father, Son, and The Holy Spirit, I love you, I really do! Don't you remember you told us you loved us, Jesus? You said you'd be comin' back again for us, Jesus. Praise you Father, Son, and The Holy Spirit, We Love You, We Really Do!
